Here are the sights of Dublin. We stayed for a weekend either side of our 5 day tour of Ireland.

Here is Malahide Castle. We got there by train from Dublin, this is me and Jane posing by a train in the sunshine. It was our first castle to see and unfortunately, Nige didnt take a jacket. It hailed and rained so he learnt a lesson there!

Hmmmm.... how many of these did you have on the trip Nigel????

Here we visited the Guinness Storehouse. We got to see the process of brewing guinness and sampled some at the end.

Here is Abbey Court, the hostel that Jane works for. We stayed there during our time in Dublin.

This is Half Penny Bridge. It used to cost the locals this much to use the bridge.

Here is a view of the River Liffey (this runs in the middle of Dublin). Dublin got its name from the river. It was called Duvlind (?) which means Black Pearl, for the colour of the Liffey. This is due to the colour of the river bed.
