
It was then off to West Meath County to the Trim Castle. Nigel is just where I want him in this photo.

Next it was off to Killbeggan (Kill means: the church of) so there was heaps of Kill places. We had to taste some whiskey (yuck!) and learnt about the process of making whiskey.
We finished for the day in Westport (a lot bigger than the NZ version). We hosteled there for the night and went out for tea and drinks. Nige was very excited to go have a beer in a pub that also sold groceries. We drank the Guinness of course. Tobesure, tobesure!
