Foo Fighters Concert
Here is nige, all dressed for the concert, but paying for it in the hot sun. He is shading himself behind a bus stop sign .
Here we are arriving at Wembly Stadium and walking up to the start of it. They had escalators and elevators for people to use, no walking up concrete slabs, like at Jade.
Here is our view for the concert, the crowds are beginning to make their way into the stadium.
Here is the stage, lit up and ready to go, yeah, foo fighters!
Here is the man, Dave Grohl
The stage was on a revolving disc so this is when it was facing us.
Here are the lights coming out as it starts to get darker.
We went to see the Foo Fighters at Wembly Stadium on the 7th of June. We were lucky enough to get tickets last minute very cheap so we went off to see the concert. It took 2 hours to get there (only 10 miles from our house), because there were so many others going. The stadium holds 86,000 people and it was pretty full so you can imagine the traffic. We had seated tickets but that was cool we were able to spy down on the crowd below and saw people getting escorted out of the concert before the Foo Fighters even appeared!! The concert rocked and they had lots of the music from all albums, guitar and drum solos and they also had 2 of the Led Zep guitar guys come out at the end of the concert to play some Led Zep with them which was a surprise. The stadium is acoustically built well and we really got to enjoy the music which was good as we were way at the back. The only down side was the food at the stadium (worst stadium food ever and expensive!) When it was all over we took another 2 hours to get home but it was all worth it.
