Penzance

We went to Penzance and stayed the night in a great backpackers called the Blue Dolphin.  The next day we went to St Michaels Mount, a castle on a rocky island set out on the bay. You have to walk on a stone walkway at low tide to get to the castle.

Nige was gutted as we got there at 9 .30ish and the castle was closed. It would have been a great day for a view from the top of the castle, but we had to push on.
