Snow in London and Cabinet War Rooms visit

On Sunday there was a lot of snow falling, that night we went out and played in the snow around our building at Allington Court.  We went to bed thinking it wouldnt be a problem for school tomorrow.  Waking up in the morning we saw that it was still snowing and it was definitely a problem to get to work.  London basically shut down, no buses, limited tube and train services.   We ended up staying at home and went for a walk down to Battersea Park.  There were heaps of people enjoying the snow.

Here is the back yard in the morning, Nige is excited that he is able to bike to work in the snow.  He biked back home when he got there and realised school was shut for the day.

If you look at the photos earlier in the night you will be able to see the difference between the snow on the chairs and bbq.

We decided to go for a walk to Battersea Park.  Nige took his bike.  Here is Nige and Kelvin enjoying the snow on the Red Rocket.

We made a snowman on the park bench and posed for a photo competition.  Here Nige is jealous of the attention that the snowman is getting.

Snowball fights were happening all over the place.
